If you're chasing David Gilmour’s tone, then this pedal is perfect. The Gilmour Muff is a recreation of Gilmour’s main and favourite ‘73 Rams Head EHX Big Muff circuit.
It features the same component values as Gilmour’s favourite original Rams Head pedal, recreating the sound that shaped much of Pink Floyd’s guitar sounds.
A mid switch has been added for control over the scooped mids that Big Muff's are famous (infamous?) for. There are 3 mids EQ settings, scooped like the original, flat, or boosted. This helps cut through any mix, or band in a live setting.
Vintage Fairchild BC239C transistors.
Enclosure is a 125B powder coated in white and UV printed for durability.
Only quality components used, including Switchcraft, Wima, Vishay, NOS Fairchild transistors, NOS Panasonic capacitors.
Features internal LED brightness trim, and a black footswitch, just like Gilmour’s original pedal (Pete Cornish modified Gilmour’s with the black footswitch).
Requires 9v battery, or standard external power for guitar effects pedals.
Please note: Build of this pedal can be customised for no additional charge, to have black davies knobs, and/or a silver footswitch if preferred. LED colour can also be customised to red/blue/UV(purple)/or orange.
